Preparation
Intention
The most important way to prepare for a session is to set the intention to have clear and direct communication with that part of you that is able to provide healing and information. I call that part of you, your Higher Self.
Repeat the following intention, or write one that resonates with you. Say it aloud, or within yourself at least 3-times a day, prior to your session.
“I have clear and direct communication with my Higher Self.”
You may want to put a “post it note” on your bathroom mirror to remind you to focus upon your intention as you wake up or prepare for bed.
Questions
Write down on a piece of paper a list of questions that are important to you and bring it to your session. If you write your questions by hand, please write them as neatly as possible to help me easily read your questions during the session. We will discuss your questions during the interview part of your session. If you have a lot questions, we will prioritize the questions to ensure that the most important questions are asked while you are under hypnosis. On average, we will have time to cover around ten questions. Some clients bring a single question, issue, or concern, while others bring dozens. It does not matter how many questions you have, only that they are arranged in the order of importance.
Sample questions
Ask personal questions related to your personal life. Here is a list of samples questions:
I have had asthma since birth. Why? Can it be healed?
I am in a new love relationship. Is this person the right one for me?
I really dislike my job and would like to quit and find a new one. Should I?
I have a difficult relationship with my father/mother/brother/sister/spouse, etc. Why is this so and can it be resolved?
Many years ago I had something strange happen to me. (This could be a dream, vision, feeling, or experience) What exactly happened, and why?
I have a lifelong interest in (name ANY subject). Where does this interest come from and why do I have it?
What is my life’s purpose?
Am I on my right spiritual path?
Can I meet my spirit guides or guardian angels?
Can I improve my intuitive or psychic skills? How?
How can I create more peace, balance or abundance in my life?
As your facilitator, I have a prepared list of “standard” questions that I can ask if you are focused upon only one or two issues, so do not worry if you have a short list.
Physical
Do not drink alcoholic or caffeinated beverages the night before, or the day of the session. These substances can interfere with the effectiveness of your hypnosis session.
Light exercise prior to your appointment, is an excellent way to prepare for a successful session. This is another good time to repeat your intention. We want your body relaxed, but your mind quiet, alert and engaged.
